About Kaleidoscope – Learning and Development
We know how difficult it can be to entrust your child to the care of someone else, especially at such a young age when the rate of learning and development is quicker than at any other time in their lives. We want you to feel confident that the Kaleidoscope approach is the most stimulating and flexible learning programme where each individual child’s needs are planned and provided for.
At each stage of your child’s development the Nursery rooms all offer well equipped areas of provision to give children a wide range of choices and opportunities. This allows them to thrive and develop in a rich and stimulating environment. Areas are also provided for rest and relaxation.
We understand the importance of outdoor play and strive to provide an exciting and inspiring environment that fosters the learning needs of children. Our concept is that of the "outdoor classroom" where learning opportunities exist even in cold or wet weather and we provide resources for these eventualities to ensure the children have “freeflow” learning – wherever their curiosity takes them.
We work within the framework of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) to help the children in our care understand the world and develop socially and emotionally. Click here for more information about the EYFS.
