We respect the parent/carer as the primary person in
the child's life and aim to work with parents to help
children develop to their full potential. At all times
we are willing to discuss issues concerning the children
in our care whilst respecting the age, stage of development
and life changes of the child. We will treat all children
as individuals and try to meet a wide variety of differing
needs through our inclusion policy. We support children's
rights and aim to uphold equality of opportunity through
all our policies and actions.
We want the children to feel ownership of their "club"
and will assist them in setting their own acceptable
rules and standards of behaviour. We aim to find ways
forward to assist children in managing their own behaviour,
setting sensible and achievable goals and boundaries,
thus helping them to develop at their own pace.
Above all, we want children at KOOSH to enjoy, have
fun and make friends in a safe and well equipped environment.
